Whatever the vibe, I'll be there to capture it all.

This isn't about performing for the camera. It's about feeling grounded, supported, and deeply present while you marry your favorite person in a way that actually reflects who you are.

For couples drawn to the mountains, the forest, and the kind of quiet that only exists at 7,000 feet.

Let's build your day →

You want elevation. Fall aspens burning gold, volcanic craters at sunrise, a meadow so remote it feels like it belongs only to you. You're not afraid of a little trail dust and you want your photos to feel like they were pulled from somewhere real. Lockett Meadow and Sunset Crater were built for you.

for the adventure seekers

Let's find your spot →

You want soft light filtering through ponderosa pines, the smell of the forest, and a pace that lets you actually feel the weight of the moment. You're not here for a production, you're here to slow down and let Flagstaff's small-town warmth hold your day. The Chapel of the Holy Dove and downtown Flagstaff's historic streets were made for you.

What kind of flagstaff elopement are you?

*I have even more location suggestions depending on your vision whether it's adventurous, romantic, hidden, or all three. We'll find your spot together.*

Route 66 runs through the heart of it. Brick storefronts, string lights, murals, and the energy of a mountain town that takes pride in being exactly itself. Downtown Flagstaff has a layered, lived-in character that translates beautifully on camera, especially at golden hour when the light hits the historic buildings and everything turns warm. For couples who want their elopement to feel like a real day in a real place.

Downtown flagstaff

Tucked into the pines just outside Flagstaff, the Chapel of the Holy Dove is one of the most intimate ceremony spaces in Northern Arizona. Small, sacred, and surrounded by forest. It offers the warmth of a traditional chapel setting without the formality of a large venue. For couples who want something that feels quiet and intentional.

chapel of the holy dove

Ancient lava fields, cinder cones, and a landscape that feels like another planet entirely. Sunrise at Sunset Crater has a stillness and scale that's hard to put into words  dramatic without being performative, wild without being inaccessible. For couples who want their backdrop to carry as much weight as the moment itself

sunset crater volcano

One of the most breathtaking seasonal locations in all of Arizona. Nestled in the inner basin of the San Francisco Peaks, Lockett Meadow transforms into a cathedral of golden aspens every fall — typically mid to late October. It's remote, it's quiet, and it photographs like nothing else in the state. For couples who want their elopement to feel genuinely otherworldly.

My favorite flagstaff elopement locations

What a flagstaff elopement with me feels like

This isn't about performing for the camera. It's about feeling grounded, supported, and deeply present while you marry your favorite person in a place that actually means something to you.

Flagstaff is the only location I serve where I get to say this genuinely  every season is worth showing up for. Spring wildflowers and pine-scented air after snowmelt. Summer cool temperatures and monsoon skies that roll in dramatic and fast. Fall aspens at Lockett Meadow burning gold for two or three weeks in mid October,  the most requested window I book all year. Winter snow in the pines and a hush that makes everything feel sacred. Whatever season calls to you, I know how to work with it, not around it.

When you work with me as your Flagstaff elopement photographer, you can expect a relaxed, unhurried presence throughout your entire day. Gentle guidance without forced posing. Space for real moments to unfold naturally. Someone who pays attention to how you're feeling, not just how things look.

Flagstaff has a particular energy to it. It's slower, softer, genuinely welcoming. My approach matches it. Documentary with gentle direction, emotion-led, warm, honest, and rooted in storytelling rather than posing. Your photos should feel like memories. Not a photoshoot

Still wondering about something? Let's chat!

It depends on your location. Sunset Crater falls within the National Monument and requires a permit for ceremonies. Lockett Meadow is within Coconino National Forest and also requires a Special Use Permit. Downtown and the Chapel of the Holy Dove have their own straightforward processes. I walk every couple through permit logistics, you won't be figuring this out alone.

Do I need a permit to elope in Flagstaff?

Honestly, all of them (and I mean that). Spring wildflowers, summer monsoon skies, fall aspens at Lockett Meadow, and winter snow in the pines each offer something completely different and genuinely beautiful. The real question is what season speaks to your relationship. I'll help you figure that out.

What time of year is best for a Flagstaff elopement?

For fall aspen season specifically, book as early as possible that window fills fast and the dates are weather dependent. For other seasons, 3 to 6 months is typical. Reach out and I'll tell you exactly what's available.

How far in advance should I book my Flagstaff elopement photographer?

Yes. Arizona requires a marriage license from any Arizona county clerk's office Coconino County is your local option for Flagstaff. I can connect you with officiant services or coordinate with someone you already have in mind.

Can we get legally married during our Flagstaff elopement?

Absolutely. Flagstaff draws couples from all over especially those who want a mountain elopement without leaving the Southwest. I'll handle location scouting, permit logistics, and timeline planning so you can focus on getting here and being present when you do

Can we elope in Flagstaff if we're not from Arizona?

Is this the right fit for us?

This Sedona elopement experience is for you if…

This might not be the right fit if…

✔ You want your day to feel meaningful, not performative
✔ You're drawn to Sedona because it actually means something to you
✔ You value emotional presence over a packed shot list
✔ You want guidance without pressure or constant direction
✔ You care about inclusivity, body respect, and a photographer who actually sees you
✔ You want photographs that feel like art and truth at the same time

✖ You want a highly scripted, content-first elopement day
✖ You're looking for the lowest price rather than the best alignment
✖ You need a large guest list or traditional wedding format
✖ You want a photographer who stays in the background completely, I'm present and communicative throughout

real love

Alexandria & Xavier

She did our elopement shoot in Tucson and it was everything I could have hoped for and so much more! Not only is she incredibly professional but she has a way of really putting you at ease and making taking pictures the most fun experience. Her photos also come out amazing!!

"If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat"

oumou & spencer

She really captured our relationship. She listened to our needs and was so knowledgeable not just about photography, but about the wedding industry as a whole. She brought a speaker to our engagement session and encouraged us to just have fun and be in the moment. It was a blast.

“Krissy encouraged us to be ourselves and got so many special moments”

Stephanie & Matt

She customized our entire shoot based on a questionnaire she sent beforehand, let our fur baby tag along, shared sneak peeks along the way, and delivered our edited photos faster than we thought humanly possible. We felt happy, seen, and completely taken care of from start to finish. Do not hesitate, book Krissy today.

“Not only is Krissy an incredible photographer, she's a hype-woman and everything in between.”

Q'Mariha Lewis

The evening of the photoshoot was an absolute blast — she meshed so well with our personalities and kept us comfortable in front of the camera... I am so happy that we hired Krissy for our anniversary photoshoot and I would gladly book her again. Absolutely no regrets.

“I am so happy that we hired Krissy for our anniversary photoshoot — absolutely no regrets.”

STEPHANIE NG

Krissy is super nice and very engaging... She takes the time to get to know you before the shoot to discuss any questions. Nothing feels overly posed because she prompts you with movements and humor. I would recommend her for adventure engagement photos, elopements and even weddings.

"I would recommend her for adventure engagement photos and elopements."
